Meta-analysis of the effects of mobile healthcare on postoperative rehabilitation in patients with hip/knee arthroplasty
Objective To systematically evaluate the application effect of mobile healthcare in the postoperative re-habilitation of patients with hip/knee arthroplasty. Methods PubMed,Web of Science,The Cochrane Library,Em-base,CNKI,VIP,SinoMed and WanFang database were searched for randomized controlled trials and non-randomized controlled trials of the use of mobile healthcare in postoperative rehabilitation of patients with hip/knee arthroplasty. The re-trieval time was from the establishment of the database to October 1,2023.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software. Results A total of 19 articles including 2 190 patients were analyzed.Meta-analysis showed that mobile healthcare could reduce WOMAC score(MD=-4.10,95%CI:-5.97--2.22,P<0.001),improve HHS score(MD=4.31,95%CI:3.04-5.58,P<0.001),and improve quality of life(SMD=0.34,95%CI:0.18-0.51,P<0.001),in-crease joint extension(MD=0.30,95%CI:0.20-0.40,P<0.001),improve activities of daily living(SMD=0.89,95%CI:0.39-1.38,P<0.001),there was no statistically significant difference in the improvement of pain(SMD=0.09,95%CI:-0.10-0.29,P=0.34)and joint flexion(MD=0.98,95%CI:-1.53-3.49,P=0.45).Conclusion Mobile health-care can improve joint function, joint extension, quality of life, and ability of daily living in patients after hip/knee arthro-plasty,but the effect on pain and joint flexion is still unclear, and high-quality studies are still needed to verify it.
