Mechanisms of formation and degradation of Neutrophil extracellular traps and its role in liver injury
In addition to phagocytosis and degranulation, neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)have been found to play an important role in neutrophil pathogens. It has been found that NETs are not only related to immune defense, but al-so involved in the occurrence and development of thrombosis and cancer. This article reviews the mechanism of formation and clearance of NETs and their roles in liver injury such as alcohol-related liver disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, liver transplantation and hepatocellular carcinoma. The aim of this study is to find new targets for the prevention and treat-ment of liver injury.
