The current status and influencing factors of adherence to anticoagulation therapy in postoperative heart valve patients
Objective To investigate the current status of adherence to anticoagulation therapy in postoperative heart valve patients and its influencing factors. Methods Patients who underwent heart valve surgery at the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery,The 7th People's Hospital of Zhengzhou, from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects using the convenience sampling method.Questionnaires were administered using the general information questionnaire, morisky medication adherence scale(MMAS-8),warfarin anticoagulation knowledge scale, comprehension social support scale and general self-efficacy scale, and multivariate linear regression was used to explore the influencing factors of patients'adherence to anticoagulant therapy after heart valve surgery. Results Among 265 postoperative heart valve replacement patients, the mean anticoagulation therapy adherence score was 6.08±0.92,of which 53.6%had poor anticoagulation therapy adherence. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that literacy,residence,med-ical payment method, per capita monthly income, and general self-efficacy were the influencing factors of anticoagu-lation therapy adherence(all P<0.001),which explained 77.1%of the total level of variance. Conclusion Ad-herence to anticoagulation therapy in postoperative heart valve patients is at a moderately low level, with literacy, residence, mode of payment for medical care, per capita monthly income, and general self-efficacy are factors for adherence to anticoagulation therapy.
