Effect of nursing care based on FMEA model in elderly patients with coronary heart disease complicat-ed with hypertension
Objective To explore the effect of FMEA-based nursing in elderly patients with coronary heart disease complicated with hypertension.Methods A total of 86 patients with coronary heart disease complicated with hyperten-sion were randomly divided into observation group and control group,who were treated in Xinyi People's Hospital from March 2023 to March 2024.The control group(n=43)received routine nursing intervention,and the observation group(n=43)received FMEA-based nursing intervention.The scores of potential failure mode[assessed using the risk priority num-ber(RPN)],uncertainty of disease[evaluated using the macquarie university international scholarship(MUIS)],nega-tive emotion[evaluated using the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and the self-rating depression scale(SDS)],self-manage-ment capacity[evaluated using the rating scale of health self-management skill for adults(AHSMSRS)],blood pressure,cardiac function[indexed as left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)],and quality of life[assessed using the China questionnaire of quality of life in patients with cardiovascular diseases(CQQC)]were observed in the two groups.Results After nurs-ing,the scores of RPN,MUIS,SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the scores of AHSMSRS and CQQC were higher than those in the control group,the blood pressure level was lower than that in the control group,and the cardiac function indexes were better than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclu-sion The nursing based on FMEA model can effectively help the elderly patients with coronary heart disease complicated with hypertension to avoid the risk of adverse events,reduce the uncertainty of the disease,improve negative emotions,im-prove self-management capacity,lower blood pressure,promote the recovery of cardiac function,and improve the quality of life.
