Application effects of continuous intervention in nursing care of elderly patients with acute leukemia undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To explore the application effects of continuous intervention in nursing care of elderly patients with acute leukemia undergoing chemotherapy,and provide methods for the treatment of this disease.Methods A total of 102 patients with acute leukemia who received chemotherapy in West China Hospital of Sichuan University from March 2018 to July 2022 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 51 ones in each group.The observa-tion group received continuous intervention,while the control group received routine nursing intervention.The psychological status,cancer-related fatigue,treatment compliance,incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life of the two groups before and after intervention were evaluated and compared.Results After 2 months of intervention,the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale,Hamilton Depression Scale,Cancer Fatigue Scale and the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;the medication compliance,chemotherapy compliance,exercise compliance,dietary compliance,and the score of the Health Survey Questionnaire in the observation group were higher than those in the control group.The above differences between the two groups were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The applica-tion of continuous intervention measures has a good effect on elderly patients with acute leukemia undergoing chemotherapy.It can improve the psychological status of patients,reduce their cancer-related fatigue,improve treatment compliance,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,improve quality of life,and has good clinical application value.
