Observation on therapeutic effects of lower limb sling robot combined with routine rehabilitation therapy on lower limb func-tion in elderly stroke patients
Objective To study the effects of lower limb sling robot combined with routine rehabilitation therapy on lower limb function in elderly stroke patients. Methods From September 2022 to September 2023,40 inpatients with stroke treated in Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,Zhoupu Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Medicine&Health Sci-ences were selected and divided into observation group(n =20)and control group(n =20)by random number method. The control group took routine rehabilitation training, and the observation group added intelligent lower limb sling robotic training on the basis of the control group. The lower limb function, body balance and daily living ability of the two groups were com-pared before and after training.Berg Balance Scale(BBS),lower-limb Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),and Modified Bar-thel Index(MBI)were used to evaluate the lower limb function, body balance and living ability of patients before and after treatment. Results There was no statistically significant difference in various evaluation indicators between the observation group and the control group before training(P>0.05).After training, compared with the control group, the observation group showed significant improvements in BBS score[(37.90±8.37)vs(27.05±7.60)],lower limb FMA score[(25.40±4.90)vs(21.90±5.27)],and MBI score[(53.00±13.90)vs(33.50±13.49)],with statistical significances(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of lower limb sling robots and routine rehabilitation therapy can promote the recovery of lower limb function and improve daily living ability of elderly stroke patients.
