Objective To explore the effects of resilience enhancement on postoperative self-efficacy in elderly patients with breast cancer. Methods A total of 94 elderly patients with postoperative breast cancer who were hospitalized in Jinshan Hospital of Fudan University from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into observation group and control group, with 47 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received resilience enhancement intervention on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 6 weeks. The resilience level[as-sessed by Conner-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)]and general self-efficacy[assessed by General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES)]of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention. Results After intervention, the total score of CD-RISC,tenacity score, strength score and optimism score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The GSES score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The resilience enhancement intervention for elderly patients with breast cancer after surgery can ef-fectively improve their resilience and self-efficacy,and has certain clinical application value.
