Application effects of systemtic intervention measures based on health behavior interaction model in elderly patients with post-stroke fatigue
Objective To explore the application effects of systemtic intervention measures based on health behavior in-teraction model in elderly patients with post-stroke fatigue. Methods 124 elderly patients with post-stroke fatigue treated in People's Hospital of Jiangyou City from October 2021 to July 2023 were selected. They were divided into observation group and control group by simple randomization method, with 62 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, while the observation group received a systemtic intervention measures based on health behavior interaction model in addition to routine intervention. The Stroke Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS),Rehabilitation Self-Efficacy Scale(SSEQ),and Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QOL)were used to evaluate and compare the fatigue severity,self-efficacy,and quality of life levels of two groups. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the scores of SSEQ,FSS and SS-QOL between the two groups. After the intervention, the FSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the SSEQ score and SS-QOL score were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The systemtic intervention measures based on health behavior interaction model may effectively reduce the severity of post-stroke fatigue in elderly stroke patients, improve their self-management initiative,self-efficacy and quality of life.
