Effects of rosuvastatin combined with periodic functional exercise on efficacy and cardiac function in elderly patients with coro-nary heart disease
Objective To investigate the effects of rosuvastatin combined with periodic functional exercise on efficacy and cardiac function in elderly patients with coronary heart disease, and provide the basis for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Methods A total of 110 elderly patients with coronary heart disease admitted to People's Hospital of Fuyang City from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into observation group(n=55)and control group(n=55)by random number table method. After excluding those who did not follow up according to time and their relevant test indexes were obviously abnormal,finally,51 patients were included in the observation group and 50 ones in the control group. The control group was treated with lipid-lowering therapy, antiplatelet therapy, and routine rehabilitation training. The observation group was treated with rosuvastatin and periodic functional exercise on the basis of the same treatment as the control group. Both groups received continuous treatment for 6 weeks. The values of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and other cardiac function indicators were observed and compared between the two groups be-fore and after treatment. The quality of life of the two groups was evaluated and compared by the Concise Quality of Life Scale(SF-36),the disease cognition of the two groups was evaluated and compared by the Simple Disease Perception Questionnaire(BIPQ),and the self-efficacy of the two groups was evaluated and compared by the General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES).The levels of serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were compared be-tween the two groups before and after treatment. The clinical efficacy and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the frequency and duration of angina pectoris of both groups were lower than those of the same group before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group(all P<0.05);the scores of SF-36,BIPQ and GSES of both groups were higher than those of the same group before treatment, and the observation group were higher than the control group(all P<0.05);the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C of both groups were lower than those of the same group before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group(all P<0.05);the LVEF levels of both groups were higher than those of the same group before treatment, and the LVEDD levels of both groups were lower than those of the same group before treatment, while the improvement of above two indexes of the ob-servation group was greater than the control group(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was signifi-cantly higher than that of the control group(92.16%vs 78.00%,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the obser-vation group was lower than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(7.84%vs 12.00%,P>0.05).Conclusion Rosuvastatin combined with periodic functional exercise in elderly patients with coronary heart disease may effectively improve the cardiac function of patients, improve their quality of life and cognitive level, reduce the degree of blood lipid disorders, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions. It is suggested that the combined treatment program has certain clinical application value.
