Effects of respiratory rehabilitation training on lung function and immune function in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To observe the effects of respiratory rehabilitation training on lung function and immune function in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and provide more evidence-based evidence for clinical di-agnosis and treatment. Methods A total of 96 elderly patients with stable COPD treated in People's Hospital of Cangzhou City from December 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected. They were divided into observation group(48 cases)and control group(48 cases)according to different intervention methods. On the basis of the same inhalation therapy with double bronchodilator, the control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received respiratory rehabilita-tion training. The changes of lung function, quality of life and immune index values were observed and compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the values of FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC of both groups were higher than those of the same group before intervention, and the observation group were higher than the control group(all P<0.05);the scores of mMRC scale and SGRQ scale of both groups were lower than those of the same group before intervention, and the observation group were lower than the control group(all P<0.05);the level of serum CD4+and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+of both groups were higher than those of the same group before intervention, and the level of CD8+of the observation group were higher than that of the con-trol group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of respiratory rehabilitation training can improve the immune function and lung function of elderly patients with COPD,improve their quality of life, and has certain clinical application value.
