Analysis of positive attitude towards the present and future in elderly emergent patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention and its influencing factors
Objective To investigate the positive attitude towards the present and future in elderly emergent patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and analyze its influencing factors. Methods The medical records of 120 elderly patients with AMI who underwent PCI in Emergency Department of First Central Hospital of Baoding City from January 2020 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The hope level of patients was in-vestigated by Herth Hope Scale(HHI).Based on this, their positive attitude towards the present and future was evaluated, and its influencing factors were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results The total score of HHI of these pa-tients was(34.79±4.42)points,and 60.83%of the patients had low and medium hope level.Univariate analysis showed that hope level was related to education level, marital status, disease cognition, chronic diseases, monthly family income,fam-ily function and social support(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that education level of junior high school or below, monthly family income<6 000 yuan, family dysfunction and low social support were independent risk factors for low hope level in elderly AMI patients after PCI(P<0.05).Conclusion The hope level of elderly emergent patients with AMI after PCI may be at a medium level, which is affected by many factors such as educational level, monthly family income, family function and social support.Medical staffs should formulate targeted intervention measures to improve hope level of pa-tients.
