Investigation of social avoidance and distress in elderly patients with cervical cancer and analysis of its influencing factors
Objective To analyze the status quo of social avoidance and distress(SAD)in elderly patients with cervical cancer(CC)after surgery, and establish preliminarily a risk prediction model. Methods 156 elderly CC pa-tients after surgery treated in Cancer Hospital of Jiangsu Province from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the ob-servation subjects.According to whether SAD occurs, they were divided into SAD group(n=75)and non-SAD group(n=81).The univariate and multivariate analysis methods were used to analyze the risk factors for SAD.Results Lo-gistic regression analysis showed that education level, coping styles, cognitive integration, family support,self-efficacy,etc.were all independent risk factors for postoperative SAD in CC patients(P<0.05).According to the results of multi-variate logistic regression analysis,a risk prediction model was established as follows:P(SAD)=1/[1+e(-21.252+1.177 ×(low education level)+1.367 ×(negative coping style)+1.412 ×(high cognitive integration)+1.904 ×(low family support)+2.021 ×(GSES<20)+0.112 ×(total score of shame)]ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of the risk prediction model was 0.857,the specificity was 0.802 5,and the sensitivity was 0.786 7,indicating that the model had good predictive performance.Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed that the goodness of fit test results of the prediction model were not significant(x2=9.214,df=8,P>0.05).Conclusion Elderly CC pa-tients are more likely to develop SAD after surgery, which may be related to their educational level, coping style, cognitive integration, family support,self-efficacy and other factors. The risk estimation model established based on these factors may have good predictive performance for SAD in CC patients.
