Effects of positive concept infiltration continuous management on psychological state and rehabilitation outcome of elderly patients with laryngeal cancer
Objective To observe the effects of positive concept infiltration continuous management on the psychologi-cal state and rehabilitation outcome of elderly patients with laryngeal cancer.Methods 100 elderly patients with laryngeal cancer admitted to Xijing Hospital from January 2022 to August 2023 were prospectively selected and randomly divided into ob-servation group and control group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received routine intervention,and the obser-vation group adopted the positive concept infiltration continuous management.The Chinese version of the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale(RPFS)was used to evaluate cancer fatigue.The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale were used to evaluate anxiety and depression.The Type C Behavior Questionnaire Scale was used to evaluate the psychological state.The European Cancer Research and Treatment Organization Quality of Life Scale was used to evaluate the quality of life.The com-plications in both groups were recorded.Results After intervention,the scores of cognition,body and behavior and the total score of RPFS of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of SAS and SDS of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The score of the negative emotion of the observa-tion group was lower than that of the control group,the scores of the positive emotion and emotion control were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference in the score of social support between the two groups(P＞0.05).The scores of emotional function and social function of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05),and score of the fatigue pain was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistical significant difference in the incidence of pulmonary infection,pharyngeal fistula,aspiration,phlegm scab blockage and incision infection between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The positive concept infiltration continuation manage-ment can alleviate cancer fatigue in elderly patients with laryngeal cancer,improve their anxiety,depression and psychological state,and improve the quality of life.It has certain practical value.
