Analysis of curative effects of rhBNP combined with trimetazidine on elderly patients with coronary heart disease and cardiac insufficiency
Objective To explore the curative effects of lyophilized recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide(rh-BNP)combined with trimetazidine on elderly patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)and cardiac insufficiency(CI).Methods 112 elderly patients with CHD and CI admitted to Department of Cardiology of Third People's Hospital of Chengdu City from September 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into observation group(n=56)and control group(n=56)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with trimetazidine, and the observation group was treated with rh-BNP combined with trimetazidine. Both groups were treated for 6 months. The curative effect, inflammatory stress indexes, myocardial enzymes and medication safety were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(92.86%vs 78.57%,P<0.05).The levels of malondialdehyde(MDA),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),monocyte chemotactic protein-1(MCP-1),cardiac troponin I(cTnI),creatine kinase(CK)and creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)in both groups were lower than those in the same group before treatment, and the decrease in the above indicators in the observation group was greater than that in the con-trol group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of rh-BNP and trimetazidine has a definite curative effect on elderly patients with CHD and CI.It can effectively reduce inflammatory stress, promote cardiac function recovery, and has high safety.
