Application effects of humanized care nursing under Kano theory in elderly patients with foreign body stuck in throat in emer-gency gastroscopy
Objective To explore the application effects of the humanized care nursing under Kano theory in elderly pa-tients with foreign body stuck in throat in emergency gastroscopy.Methods 94 elderly patients with foreign body stuck in throat who underwent emergency gastroscopy in Department of Gastroenterology,Jiaozhou Central Hospital,Qingdao City from September 2020 to September 2023 were selected and divided into observation group(n=47)and control group(n=47)ac-cording to random number table method.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received the humanized care nursing under Kano theory.The emergency gastroscopy-related conditions and satisfaction of patients during in-tervention were compared between the two groups.The pain degree,comfort degree and change range of physiological stress of the two groups were compared before and after intervention.Results During intervention,the gastroscopy time and gastro-scope entry time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05),and the success rate of one-time gastroscope entry was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the success rate of foreign body removal between the two groups(P＞0.05).After the end of the intervention,the VAS score,PCS scores,HR,SBP and MAP in both groups were significantly lower than those in the same group before intervention(P＜0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).The PCS scores in both groups were signifi-cantly higher than those in the same group before intervention(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than the con-trol group(P＜0.05).The absolute value of the difference in PCS scores before and after intervention in the observation group was larger than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The NSNS score in the observation group was higher than that in the con-trol group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The humanized care nursing based on Kano theory can effectively promote the implemen-tation of emergency gastroscopy,significantly relieve the pain degree of elderly patients with foreign body stuck in throat,re-duce the change range of physiological stress,and improve the comfort and satisfaction.
