Influence of hepatic artery interventional embolization on the risk of complications and changes of inflammatory markers in patients with hepatic hemangioma
Objective To investigate the influence of hepatic artery interventional embolization on the risk of complica-tions and the level of inflammatory markers in patients with hepatic hemangioma. Methods 92 patients with hepatic he-mangioma admitted by the Interventional Department of Anyang Cancer Hospital from April 2019 to May 2021 were selected for the study. They were randomly divided into the control group(n=46 cases)and the observation group(n=46 cases). The control group underwent routine laparotomy, and the observation group underwent hepatic artery interventional emboliza-tion.The total efficiency, complications, serum C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-4(IL-4)Interleukin-6(IL-6)and other changes were measured by Quality of Life Inventory(FACT-G)during the 6 months after surgery. Results The total effec-tive rate of 91.3%in the observation group was higher than that of 71.4%in the control group(P<0.05);The level of se-rum CRP and IL-4 in the observation group was not significantly higher than that in the control group 3 days after operation, while the level of IL-6 was lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);The in-cidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group The FACT-G score in the observa-tion group was higher than that in the control group after 3 months of follow-up(P<0.05).Conclusion Hepatic artery in-terventional embolization can regulate the level of inflammatory factors in patients, control the inflammatory reaction of the body, delay the progress of the disease, reduce complications, and optimize the quality of life.
