Objective To explore the risk factors related to a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)recurrence among coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients after therapy. Methods The clinical and laborato-rial data of 320 patients with COVID-19 after therapy in Tianjin First Center Hospital from January 2022 to February 2022 were collected.Based on re-positive detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA,the patients were divided into recurrence group and non-recurrence group.Logistic regression was used to further analyze risk factors related to a SARS-CoV-2 recurrence.Re-sults The 320 patients were divided into recurrence group(n=73)and non-recurrence group(n=247),and the proportion of recurrence was 22.8%.Logistic regression analysis showed that higher CRP(OR=1.050,95%CI:1.001~1.100;P=0.045)and a history of chronic liver disease(OR=6.493,95%CI:2.771~15.216;P<0.01)were independent risk fac-tors for a SARS-CoV-2 recurrence of patients with COVID-19 after therapy. Conclusion COVID-19 patients with higher CRP and a history of chronic liver disease were prone to a SARS-CoV-2 recurrence.Such patients should take preventive measures and psychological counseling.
