The effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with hand function rehabilitation training on postoperative functional recovery of hand injuries
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with hand function rehabilitation training on postoperative functional recovery of hand injury patients.Methods Sixty patients with hand injuries who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were randomly divided into a control group(n=30)and an intervention group(n=30)using a random number table method.The control group re-ceived postoperative hand function rehabilitation training.Based on this,the intervention group was combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing for 8 weeks;Before and after intervention,the blood circulation status,upper limb function(UEFI),hand muscle strength(MMT),and quality of life(SF-36)were compared between the two groups.After the intervention,the blood circulation status and hand muscle strength level of the intervention group were better than those of the control group,with statistical differences(P＜0.05);After intervention,the UEFI and SF-36 scores of both groups in-creased,and the intervention group was higher than the control group,with a statistical difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with hand function rehabilitation training in hand injuries can improve blood circulation,hand muscle strength,and upper limb function,thereby improving the quality of life of patients.
