Effect of Sakubatril Valsartan in Combination with Standard Heart Failure Therapy on Cardiac Function Classification,6-min Walking Test and Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction in Patients with HFrEF
Objective To analyze the effect of sakubatril valsartan in combination with standard heart failure therapy on cardiac function classification,6-min walking test and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction(HFrEF).Methods Eighty-two patients with HFrEF in our hospital from December 2019 to 0ctober 2021 were enrolled, and randomly classified into two groups by computer, each with 41 cases.Standard group re-ceived standard heart failure therapy, while combined group received sakubatril valsartan in combination with standard heart failure therapy. Then the cardiac function classification,6-min walking test,LVEF and myocardial injury markers were com-pared between two groups. Results The cardiac function classification at post-treatment 1 d yielded statistical difference between two groups(P<0.05).The 6-min walking distance and LVEF value at the baseline demonstrated no statistical difference between groups(P>0.05),while the two values at post-treatment 1 d of combined group were remarkably higher in combined group than in standard group(P<0.05).Serum N-terminal prohormone of brain natriuretic peptide(NTproB-NP)and cardiac troponin Ⅰ(cTnⅠ)levels at baseline denoted no significant difference between groups(P>0.05),while the levels of two serum indicators were obviously lower in combined group than in standard group at post-treatment 1 d(P<0.05).Conclusion Application of sakubatril valsartan in combination with standard heart failure therapy in the treatment of HFrEF can effectively improve the cardiac function, improve the 6-min walking distance and LVEF value in patients, which is worthy of recommendation.
