Objective To investigate the study of the application of health information service system in elderly diabetic patients.Methods 100 diabetic patients,treated in the Endocrinology Department of Junxian People's Hospital from June 2021 to December 2022,were selected as examples.The computer group was divided into control group and observation group,with 50 patients in each group.The control group implemented routine out-of-hospital care,and the observation group implemented personalized medical information service system management on the basis of the control group.After 6 weeks of intervention,changes in blood glucose level and quality of life were observed in both groups.Results After 6 weeks of in-tervention,fasting blood glucose(FPG),postprandial 2 glucose(2hPG),and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels were re-duced in the observation group compared with the control group(P<0.05).The patients in the observation group had high-er scores of mobility,daily living,feeling of health,support from family and friends,and cognition of whole life than the con-trol group,and the difference was statistically significant when comparing between groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of medical information service system management can improve diabetic patients'disease related hazard awareness,help patients improve their self-management ability and care ability,achieve good control of blood glucose index and improve patients'quality of life,which is worthy of clinical reference.
