Effects of Acupuncture Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation in Treatment of Pain in Neck Shoulder Low-Back and Leg
Objective:To observe and analyze the therapeutic effects of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in treatment of pain in neck shoulder low-back and leg.Methods:One hundred cases of patients with pain in neck shoulder low-back and leg were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,50 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with acupuncture treatment on the basis of syndrome differentiation and those in the observation group combined self-made traditional Chinese medicine decoction fumigation on the basis of the treatment in the control group.The clinical therapeutic effects and the symptom score,the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score,the Japanese Orthopedics Association (JOA) score,the Barthel index score,the Fugl-Meyer functional activities score before and after the treatment of the patients in the two groups were observed.Results:The therapeutic effects and the overall clinical efficiency of the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (x2 =10.006,6.353,P ＜0.05).The symptom scores after the treatment of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (t =16.874,24.244,11.699,P ＜ 0.05).The VAS score after the treatment of the patients in the observation was significantly lower than that in the control group and JOA score was significantly higher than that in the control group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (t =17.638,9.698,P ＜0.05).The Barthel score and Fugl-Meyer score after the treatment of the patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (t =10.881,15.094,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of syndrome differentiation,the application of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of pain in neck shoulder low-back and leg can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms,improve joint function and limb activity function,improve the quality of life of patients and has good therapeutic effects.
