Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Supplemented Shaogan Fuzi Decoction(加味芍甘附子汤)on patients with active rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods From January 2022 to January 2023,a total of 70 patients with active RA were randomly selected in the hospital and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 35 patients in both groups.The control group was treated with methotrexate.The treatment group added Supplemented Shaogan Fuzi Decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect,TCM syndrome scores and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Before and after treatment,the concentrations of inflammatory factors[interleukin-17(IL-17),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interferon γ(IFN-γ)]and RF in peripheral blood of the two groups were detected,and the disease activity score(DAS28)were used to monitor the patients.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and there was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the scores of 3 major diseases and 3 secondary diseases in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the expression levels of serum IFN-γ/IL-6/IL-17/RF were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).DAS28 scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after 12 and 24(36)weeks of treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion Supplemented Shaogan Fuzi Decoction combined with methotrexate can effectively reduce the level of disease activity,serum inflammatory factors and RF in active RA patients,and improve the therapeutic effect.
