Clinical Study on Modified Shizaotang Powder(十枣汤加味散)Combined with Celecoxib in Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis Synovitis of Damp-Heat and Blood Stasis Type
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Shizaotang Powder(十枣汤加味散)combined with celecox-ib on knee osteoarthritis synovitis of damp-heat and blood stasis type.Methods A total of 120 patients with knee osteoarthritis synovitis treated in Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical from May 2021 to December 2023 were enrolled.They were randomly divided into control group(60 cases)and observation group(60 cases)by random number table.The patients in the observation group were treated with Modified Shizaotang Powder and celecoxib capsule.Those in the control group were treated with Tongluo Qutong Cream(通络祛痛膏)and celecoxib capsule.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The visual analogue scale(VAS),knee joint swelling scale,knee joint function(Hospital for Special Surgery,HSS)score,the depth of bursa effusion,the clinical curative effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the VAS score,knee joint swelling scale and the depth of bursa effusion in both groups decreased,while the HSS score increased in both groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05),but there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05).The total ef-fective rate of the observation group(95％,57/60)was higher than that of the control group(83.3％,50/60)(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group(10％,6/60)and the control group(13.3％,8/60)(P＞0.05).Conclusion Modified Shizaotang powder combined with celecoxib has obvious curative effect on knee osteoarthritis synovitis of damp-heat and blood stasis type,and can relieve the pain,eliminate the swelling of knee joints and promote the recovery of knee joint function of the patients.The treatment is safe and reliable.
