Efficacy of Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction(宣白承气汤)Combined with Budesonide Atomization on Acute Bronchial Asthma and Its Influence on Lung Function,Serum IL-4,IFN-γ and CRP
Objective To observe the efficacy of Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction(宣白承气汤)combined with budesonide atomi-zation in the treatment of acute bronchial asthma and the influence on lung function,serum interleukin-4(IL-4),interferon γ(IFN-γ)and C-reactive protein(CRP).Methods Ninety-eight patients with acute bronchial asthma who were treated in the hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into control group and combined group,with 49 ca-ses in each group.The control group was given budesonide atomization therapy on the basis of conventional treatment,and the combined group was treated with Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction on the basis of the control group,and both groups were treated for 7 days.The efficacy,TCM syndromes scores,lung function,serum inflammatory factor levels and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After 7 days of treatment,the efficacy grading and total effective rate in the com-bined group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of primary and secondary syndromes in both groups were decreased(P＜0.05),and the scores were significantly lower in the combined group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The values of forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1)and peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)were increased in both groups(P＜0.05),and the above indicators in the combined group were higher compared with those in the control group(P＜0.05).Serum IL-4 and CRP levels in the two groups were reduced,and the levels in the com-bined group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The IFN-γ level was increased,and the level was higher in the combined group compared to that in the control group(P＜0.05).During treatment,there were no statistical differences in the incidence rates of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction combined with budesonide atomization has a significant efficacy in the treatment of acute bronchial asthma,and it can effectively improve the TCM symptoms,relieve the inflammatory response and improve the lung function.
