Effect of Self-made Jiegeng Xuanshen Decoction(自拟桔梗玄参汤)Combined with Ambroxol Hydrochloride on Cough after Thyroid Surgery and Its Effect on Levels of Inflammatory Factors
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Self-made Jiegeng Xuanshen Decoction(自拟桔梗玄参汤)combined with ambroxol hydrochloride in the treatment of cough after thyroid surgery and its influence on the levels of inflammatory factors.Methods A total of 62 patients with cough after thyroid surgery treated in the hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected and divided into control group(32 cases)and observation group(30 cases)by random control group method.The control group was given atomized ambroxol hydrochloride injection,and the observation group was given Self-made Jiegeng Xuanshen Decoction on this basis.The two groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy,Man-darin Chinese version of the Leicester Cough Questionnaire(LCQ-MC)score,cough score,traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,St.George's respiratory questionnaire(SGRQ)score,the levels of interleukin-8(IL-8),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and immunoglobulin E(IgE)and immune function between the two groups after treatment were compared.Results After treatment,the effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher(P＜0.05).After treatment,LCQ-MC scores were significantly increased in both groups(P＜0.05),and that was more significantly increased in the observa-tion group(P＜0.05).After treatment,daytime and nighttime cough scores,TCM symptom scores and SGRQ scores were signifi-cantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05).The decrease was more significant in the observation group(P＜0.05).The levels of IL-8,IL-6,TNF-α and lgE decreased significantly in both groups after treatment,and the levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after treatment,and the difference was significant(P＜0.05).In terms of the proportion of CD3+T and CD4+T cells,the proportion of CD8+T cells in the two groups increased after treatment,while the proportion of CD8+T cells decreased compared with that before treatment,and the specific change range in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Self-made Jiegeng Xuanshen Decoction and ambroxol hydrochloride in the treatment of cough after thyroid surgery has a good clinical effect,which can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients,reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and enhance the immune function.
