Discussion on Improvement of Bowel Function and Curative Effect Analysis after Rectal Prolapse Based on Theory of Combination of Tract and Surgery
Objective To analyze the improvement and efficacy of postoperative defecation in patients with rectal prolapse by using stereoscopic quadruple surgery combined with traditional Chinese medicine under the guidance of the theory of combination of tract and surgery. Methods A total of 36 patients with rectal prolapse who were hospitalized in Hebei Provincial Hospital of Tra-ditional Chinese Medicine from September 2019 to March 2021 who met the inclusion criteria were selected. Before surgery,30 and 90 days after surgery, anorectal manometry(ARM),balloon expulsion test(BET),Wexner anal incontinence score and Wex-ner constipation score were observed. Each index before surgery and 30 and 90 days after surgery were observed and compared. Results The values of anal resting pressure(ARP)and anal maximal contraction pressure(AMCP)after the surgery were signifi-cantly higher than those before the surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of postoperative constipation and anus incontinence score and BET were significantly lower than those before surgery, and the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Under the guidance of the theory of combination of tract and surgery, stereoscopic quad-ruple surgery in the treatment of rectal prolapse has definite curative effect. The normal defecation function of patients after surgery is directly proportional to the therapeutic effect.
