In the developmental journey of the Chinese nation,mythology serves as the cultural fountainhead and plays a sig-nificant role in shaping the collective consciousness of the Chinese ethnic community,with ancestral myths being particularly em-blematic.Specifically,these myths convey a sense of genealogical identity for the entire Huaxia ethnicity.This conceptual sense of kinship is the subjective emotional bond that underpins the collective consciousness of the Chinese national community.Myths such as those of Pangu and Fuxi-Nüwa have been broadly propagated and embraced across various regions and ethnicities,convey-ing a territorial identity for the Chinese nation.This territory-based ethnic identification is the objective material foundation that solidifies the collective consciousness of the Chinese national community.Cultural myths centered around figures like Yan and Huang reflect the construction of a spiritual belief identity for the Chinese nation,mirroring a shared history and cultural essence among all ethnic groups.These ancestral myths of various ethnic groups,interlacing kinship,territory,and spiritual beliefs,vividly and concretely manifest the collective consciousness of the Chinese national community.
