The independent construction of Guizhou province in the Ming Dynasty promoted the rapid development of various aspects of local society and strengthened the local community of local elites. In order to select rural elites who are in line with local social development, the Guizhou region has formed a process of selecting rural elites consisting of selection, review, and approval. There are three types of commendation methods:selection, grace edict, and offering sacrifices.Guizhou Township Magistrates are widely distributed in the prefectures and counties under the jurisdiction of the Guizhou Provincial Government, the Tusi, and the Weisuo under the jurisdiction of the Guizhou Provincial Government.Among them, the number of Township Magistrates distribut-ed in the Weisuo area is more than that in the prefectures and counties, and the closer they are to the transportation arteries and economic prosperous areas, the denser the distribution of Township Magistrates. As an important force in promoting the social de-velopment of Guizhou during the Ming Dynasty, these local elites played an important role in educating the people and stabilizing local social order, while also connecting the country and local society.
