Application of Physical Chemistry Methods in Mineral Processing under the Background of"Fine Development of Rich Mineral Resources"—With a Case Study of the Δ Gθ-T and E-pH Value Diagram of Thermodynamics and Chemical Beneficiation
"Fine Development of Rich Mineral Resources"is an important strategic deployment of the Provincial Party Com-mittee and Government of the Guizhou Province to implement the support of the Party Central Committee and the State Council for Guizhou's innovative path of the Western Development in the new era.Guizhou should closely promote the development and utili-zation of mineral resources around the"rich ore and refined development"and the comparative advantages of enriched mineral re-sources.Mineral processing and chemical beneficiation are important technical support for"deep mining",and the thermodynamic basic theories and research methods, which is the fundamental core part of the knowledge system of physical chemistry and plays a very important role in mineral processing processes. In the physical chemistry teaching of mineral processing engineering,it is nec-essary to closely focus on the basic theories, methods, and tools of thermodynamics, combined with the background of"Fine Devel-opment of Rich Mineral Resources"and the advantages of regional mineral resources, and integrate the principles and usage meth-ods of Δ Gθ-Tand E-pH diagram of thermodynamics, while also requiring them to have a firmly grasp them.Taking high sulfur bauxite, manganese ore, coal gangue, potassium rich shale, sulfide ore, gold ore,and rare earth ore(slag)as examples, this article elaborates on the application of Δ Gθ-T and E-pH diagram in practical chemical beneficiation processes such as roasting and leaching in order to enhance students'ability to connect theory with practice and their professionalism and competence in"Fine Development of Rich Mineral Resources".
