The Impact and Spatial Effect of Digital Finance on the High-quality Economic Development of the Former Central Soviet Area in Southern Jiangxi
Based on the panel data of 15 counties in the former Central Soviet Area in southern Jiangxi from 2015 to 2022,this study constructed an index of high-quality economic development in the former Central Soviet Area in southern Jiangxi,and explored the impact of digital finance on the high-quality economic development of counties in the former Central Soviet Area in southern Jiangxi.The research results showed that the impact of digital finance on the high-quality economic development of the former Central Soviet Area in southern Jiangxi was U-shaped;govern-ment intervention had a negative regulatory effect on this impact.After further analysis,it was found that digital fi-nance and high-quality economic development both had significant regional agglomeration in the former Central So-viet Area in southern Jiangxi,and digital finance had a significant positive spatial spillover effect on the high-quality economic development of the former Central Soviet Area in southern Jiangxi,that is,digital finance not only had an impact on the high-quality economic development of the local region,but also had the same directional impact on neighboring regions.
