An Empathic Awareness Model of Revolutionary Sites:From the Perspective of Tourist Psychological Presence and Transcendence
As a precious cultural heritage and historical resources, revolutionary sites contain profound cultural genes, red spirit and revolutionary memory, and are of great significance in the development of red cultural tourism.Previous studies mostly focused on the"object"of the site itself, and few studies explored the characteristics of the tourists. It is urgent to reveal the psychological state of tourists when visiting. In order to further explore the rule of"cultural communication"between revolutionary sites and tourists, this study selected three revolutionary sites in Jiangxi, namely the Memorial Hall of the August 1st Uprising, the former site of the military headquarters of the New Fourth Army and Xiaoping Road,as cases to analyze, and explored the impact of tourists'spatial presence,psycho-logical presence and accessibility on emotional transcendence, and constructed an empathic awareness model for tourists. The results show that spatial presence, psychological presence and accessibility have positive effects on e-motional transcendence, and verify the applicability of the tourist empathy awareness model in the three revolution-ary sites. The research innovatively combines empathy theory and field theory, and proposes the laws of"spatial presence"and"psychological presence"in revolutionary sites, thus verifying the scientific and necessary research from the perspective of tourist experience. The study initiated new thinking on the construction of revolutionary sites and tourist experience, and provided a new perspective for the development of revolutionary sites in the new era.
