Study on the Factors Influencing the Health of the Impoverished Elderly From the Perspective of Poverty Alleviation Policies Through Medical Security
Poverty alleviation through medical security,as an effective support system,meets the needs of the poor for medical services by reducing their economic and psychological burden.Based on the data from the China Elderly Health Impact Factors Tracking Survey(CLHLS)released in 2020,propensity score matching method is used for data matching,and regression method is used to statistically analyze the data before and after matching.It is found that there is a statistical difference in whether the impoverished elderly covered by the poverty alleviation policies through medical security have sufficient medical services,and the poverty alleviation policy through medical security provides more sufficient medical services for the impoverished elderly.To study the factors influencing on the health of the impoverished elderly from the perspective of the poverty alleviation policies through medical security can pro-vide suggestions for improving the health status of the impoverished elderly.Psychological counseling and treatment should be included in medical security to improve the medical insurance system for mental illnesses;Play the role of the poverty alleviation policies through medical security in the management of health throughout the entire life cycle;Promote the effective connection between rural revitalization and the poverty alleviation policies through medical se-curity to improve the long-term effectiveness of the policies.
