Development Trajectory and Characteristics of Modern China Exploring Modernization
Modern China was forced to explore modernization under the circumstance of internal troubles and foreign invasion,resulting in a tortuous development of the modernization process.This modernization is a part of the era picture of modern China's transition from passive involvement in world history to active participation in world history and profound changes in the process of world history in the new era.It is also a preparatory stage for the creation of a new form of human civilization under socialism with Chinese characteristics.From the perspective of the develop-ment of modernization,modern China's exploration of modernization mainly went through five stages,each with dif-ferent social and national conditions,resulting in characteristics such as passivity,complexity,dependence,and one sidedness in the exploration of modernization.Nevertheless,the Chinese people chose the CPC correctly at the his-torical juncture,and under the leadership of the CPC,they gradually eliminated the influence of various social thoughts,and realized the difficult exploration of economic,political,cultural,and other modernization.
