Comparative Study on Bird Diversity in Qinghai Lake and Chaney Lake
A total of 4 of the 9 migratory bird flight channels in the world pass through China, among which the Central Asia-India migratory flight zone passes through Qinghai Lake in China and Chaney Lake in Russia. As an important stopping place on this migratory bird flight channel, the two lakes pro-vide nutrition for global migratory birds and are also breeding and wintering grounds for many migratory birds. This study collected bird data of the two lakes for comparative analysis, and found that there were 95 species of birds belonging to 16 orders and 30 families. The G-F index, bird similarity index,endan-gered protection of common bird species, ecological groups and resident types of the two lakes were com-pared,which provided important data for the construction of ecological protection systems of the two lakes. At the same time,it is suggested that the protection of migratory birds can indirectly protect other local species, and the ecological monitoring and protection of the two lakes should be strengthened con-tinuously in the future.
