Effects of Different Microbial Agents on the Growth and Nutrient Absorption of Flue-cured Tobacco Floating Seedlings
Rainy and low temperature weather was often encountered during the period of the cultivation of flue-cured tobacco seedlings in Chongqing. Therefore,it weakens the quality of flue-cured tobacco seedlings and is not conducive to normal growth of flue-cured tobacco in the field. In this study, floating seedling experiments were conducted to studied the effects of different microbial agents on the growth and nutrient absorption of flue-cured tobacco floating seedlings. The results showed that, when they were sprayed once,ZF and JG treatments could significantly promote plant height, stem circumference, maximum leaf length, dry weight of leaf, stem and root, the absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in leaves, root vitality, total root length, root surface area, root diameter, and root volume of flue-cured tobacco floating seedlings. The promoting effects on above indexes of JG treatment were the most signifiicant. When they were sprayed twice, only JG treatment signifiicantly promoted plant height, stem circumference, maximum leaf length, dry weight of leaf, stem and root, absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in leaves, and root vitality of flue-cured tobacco floating seedlings. However,ZY treatment significantly inhibited the appearance, dry weight of leaf and stem, absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrients in leaves, and root vitality of flue-cured tobacco floating seedlings, when it was sprayed twice. Therefore,it is recommended to spray JG microbial agent once in the cultivation of flue-cured tobacco seedlings to promote the aboveground and underground growth of seedlings and improve their quality in Chongqing.
