Lantana camara is an invasive alien species,which is widely distributed in South China.The climatic conditions and geographical location of Zhongshan City are suitable for the growth of L.camara,and the outbreak is not conducive to control.According to the risk assessment index system of invasive alien species,L.camara was qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed and comprehensively assessed from four aspects:introduction and colonization risk,spread risk,potential harm and impact,and hazard control.The result showed that the R value of risk assessment of L.camarain Zhongshan City was 0.76,which was a low risk alien.The results are of guiding significance for formulating scientific countermeasures against L.camara.
