In order to grasp the status of bird resources in Qujing City,the bird fauna and biodiversity in Qujing City are studied through literature review method.The results showed that there is a record in Qujing city of total 354 species of birds belonging to 19 orders,72 families,and 191genera.Among them,there are 68 species of na-tional class key protected birds and 1 key protected species in Yunnan Province.In terms of residence types,resi-dent birds are the majority,but migratory birds also account for a large proportion.In terms of regional composi-tion,the dominant species are the Oriental species,followed by the widely distributed species,which are consist-ent with the geographical flora of Qujing city.In terms of species composition and ecological groups,small song-birds such as Passeriformes were the main species,but waders and natatorial birds also account for a large propor-tion.The G-F index is 0.88,of which the G index is 5.04 and the F index is 42.73,showing high diversity among families and low diversity among genera.This study can provide a certain theoretical basis for the protection and management of birds in Qujing City.
