Research Progress of Rural Sewage Treatment Technology
With the development of the rural economy and the improvement of people's living standards,the popu-lation in rural areas rises,then the resulting amount of sewage increases,and the traditional rural sewage treatment facilities face great challenges.This paper reviews,classifies and compares rural decentralized domestic wastewater treatment technologies.The results show that the current rural domestic sewage treatment technologies can be mainly divided into three types:biological,ecological and combined treatment technologies,among which combined treatment technologies have great advantages in terms of economic perspective,treatment energy effi-ciency and environmental improvement.Rural domestic sewage treatment technologies should be selected accord-ing to local conditions.It is the trend of future development to study the treatment process of rural domestic sew-age with low cost and low carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus emission.This study is expected to provide a refer-ence for the treatment of rural domestic sewage,and then promote the sustainable development of rural areas and improve the quality of life of rural residents.
