Study on the Optimal Dosage of Phosphorus Removal From Sewage by Combined Volumetric Flocculation
The combined treatment of phosphorus in water with iron salts, polyacrylamide(PAM)and steel slag at different phosphorus concentrations was studied. The optimal dosage of phosphorus in water treated by combined volume flocculation of iron salt, polyacrylamide(PAM)and steel slag at different phosphorus concentrations was investigated.Under various conditions, when the concentration of phosphorus in raw water is 8mg/L,the optimal dosage of the three combined volume flocculation is n(Fe)∶n(P)=2.5;the dosage of PAM is 0.lmg/L,and the dos-age of steel slag is 4g/L.When the concentration of phosphorus in raw water is 4mg/L,the optimal dosage of the combined volume flocculation is n(Fe)∶n(P)=3.5;the dosage of PAM is 0.05mg/L,and the dosage of steel slag is 3g/L.When the concentration of phosphorus in raw water is 2mg/L,the optimal dosage of the combined volume flocculation of the three is n(Fe)∶n(P)=2.5;the dosage of PAM is 0.1mg/L,and the dosage of steel slag is 3g/L.The effluent phosphorus concentration under the optimal dosage met the Ⅲ standard of Surface Water Environ-mental Quality Standard(GB3838-2002).
