Discussion on the Problems and Optimization Strategies of Aging Friendly Urban Community Parks in the Central Urban Area of Chongqing
Community parks are frequently used public venues for daily outdoor activities of the elderly.With the increasing aging population in China,improving their aging friendly is an important part of achieving an aging friendly society.This paper selects 16 representative community parks in the central urban area of Chongqing.Starting from the physiological and psychological needs of the elderly,through a survey of the current situation of the venue and the use of the elderly in the park,an"environment demand"evaluation table for aging friendly community parks is generated.This paper summarizes the prominent problems existing in the park,and puts for-ward the corresponding optimization strategies from the aspects of space design,facility design,detail design,eco-logical design,post-maintenance management,etc.,so as to provide a reference for the future aging friendly re-newal,renovation,and design and construction of community parks.
