Analysis and Management of Root Rot in Salix babylonica Cultivation in Fengtai District
In order to improve the management level of Salix babylonica diseases in Fengtai area and achieve sus-tainable forestry development,an analysis is conducted on the treatment factors, influencing factors, and preven-tion measures of root rot disease in Salix babylonica cultivation.Using the method of data statistics, the detection and influencing factors of Salix babylonica root rot disease in Fengyi Park from 2020 to 2022 were analyzed, and the relationship between root rot disease and climate conditions, continuous cropping obstacles, and soil condi-tions was established. The statistical results show that Rhizoctonia,Fusarium, and Phytophthora are the primary pathogens in the root rot disease of Salix babylonica. At the same time, root rot disease is easily affected by cli-mate conditions and continuous cropping obstacles, soil conditions and fertility management, which restricts the growth and development of Salix babylonica and threaten the stability of the Salix babylonica ecosystem. The positive rate of Rhizoctonia was the highest in the samples of Salix babylonica with root rot disease, reaching 70.5%;The incidence rate of root rot in hot and rainy season was significantly higher than that in other months, and the highest rainfall was 60.4%in July in Daxing District; In terms of soil pH value, soil with a pH value less than 6.0 is the most severe, with a detection rate of 42%.To scientifically prevent and control root rot, continuous and scientific soil analysis and management are necessary to ensure that the soil pH value is maintained between 6.0 and 7.0.At the same time, soil ecological restoration strategies are adopted;planting systems are optimized;rele-vant systems are established and comprehensive management is strengthened.
