Analysis of Ornamental Plant Resources in Niubeiliang National Forest Park
Niubeiliang National Forest Park has rich and diverse ornamental plant resources,covering ornamental flowers,leaves and fruit plants.There are 456 species of wild ornamental plants and 392 species of cultivated or-namental plants in the park,belonging to 115 families,293 genera and 105 families,256 genera.In spite of this,there are few plant species with high ornamental value,especially wild foliage and fruit plants.After evaluation,it is found that most of the wild plants in flowering plants are evaluated as low or medium,and the proportion of cultivated plants with high evaluation is close to 1/3.The evaluation of foliage plants is also similar to that of wild plants.Most of the plants are evaluated as low or medium,and the proportion of cultivated plants with high evaluation is similar.The evaluation of fruit plants is different.There are two kinds of wild plants with high eval-uation,and the proportion of cultivated plants with high evaluation is not high.It is necessary to protect and pro-mote cultivated plant resources and increase their ornamental value and sustainable utilization.Public education and awareness are also the key to improving public awareness and participation in plant protection through exten-sive publicity and education activities.
