Research on the Development Status of Rosa roxbunghii Industry in Duyun City
Starting from April 2023,the current development status of Rosa roxbunghii bases in Duyun City from 2013 to 2022 are investigated.The aim was to understand the management and fruiting situation of the bases,ana-lyze the production,sales,and processing status of Rosa roxbunghii fresh fruits,and summarize the difficulties and problems in the development of the Rosa roxbunghii industry.There are three main ways to develop the Rosa roxbunghii base in Duyun City.The first is to return farmland to forest(Rosa roxbunghii),with the largest affor-estation area in 2017;The second is to incorporate the transfer of land by large enterprises into other forestry pro-jects to create Rosa roxbunghii,in order to consolidate the achievements of returning farmland to forests.The af-forestation area of the project is the largest;The three major enterprises transferred land and invested their own funds to cultivate Rosa roxbunghii,mainly concentrated from 2015 to 2017,with an afforestation area of 8376 a-cres.After the construction of Rosa roxbunghii bases,there is a common problem of low frequency of nurturing and management,as well as insufficient fruit bearing.From 2019 to 2022,the production of fresh Rosa roxbunghii fruits have been increasing year by year,with the main harvest areas being Pinglang Town and Mochong Town.Sales are mainly carried out by individual businesses who purchase and resell Rosa roxbunghii processing plants in other counties.There are many problems in the development of Rosa roxbunghii industry in Duyun City,such as small overall planting scale,lack of sustained funding investment,and failure to keep up with subsequent nur-turing management.Adjustments should be made in a timely manner based on the current situation of Rosa rox-bunghii industry development.
