This paper introduces the concept and characteristics of ecosystem services and the development process of ecosystem services valuation.Through collected the past years of relevant literature,methods of ecosystem service valuation were classified into two categories:value valuation method and material amount method.At present,ecosystem service valuation has been used in various fields such as land-use,ecological compensation,landscape planning and so on.The existing problems in the research are discussed,including lack of theoretical innovation,neglect of some ecosystems,and difficulty in data conversion of research results.The paper also told us future research will appear these characteristics as follows.First,ecosystem service valuation will use Al tech-nology.Second,ecosystem service valuation will tend to diversity.Third,ecosystem service valuation will com-bine with the SDGs based on the global change.
