Research Progress on the Eco-geography Distribution of Soil Fauna in the Wetland Ecosystem of China
Soil fauna is an important component of wetland system, which can improve the properties of soil,reg-ulate the decomposition of substances, promote nutrient cycling and indicate environmental changes. At present, there are few studies on the eco-geographical distribution of wetland soil animals, the structure of soil animal community and the diversity of species in different wetlands. In order to know more about the differences of eco-logical geographical distribution, community structures and species diversity of wetland soil animals in our coun-try,this paper reviewed the literature on the ecological and geographic distribution of soil animals and the differ-ences of soil animal community structures in different wetland from 1979 to 2023.The results showed that the study on the ecological geographical distribution, ecological characteristics and ecological functions of soil ani-mals in wetland has obvious regional significance. The dominant groups of soil animals in different wetlands were different, and they had obvious surface aggregation in the soil layer. The majority of soil animals were carrion. The numbers of Acarina(a)and Collembola(c)were typical zonality; The species and quantity of soil animals in different wetlands have typical seasonal changes, showing typical wetland characteristics. It is suggested that mo-lecular biological techniques should be applied to the study of classification and diversity of soil animals in the future, and the relationship between the distribution of soil animals and geographical environment should be stud-ied in depth.Indicator groups in different wetland environments should be screened out to strengthen the applied research of soil animals in wetland ecological restoration.
