Research Progress and Development Trend of Vegetation Restoration in Dry-hot Valley
Amidst the challenges posed by global climate change and human activities,the dry-hot valley regions,as one of the most fragile ecosystems on Earth,are facing severe ecological threats.Characterized by high temper-atures,low humidity,seasonal rainfall,and impoverished soils,these areas are grappling with issues such as vege-tation degradation,soil erosion,and a decline in biodiversity.In this study,vegetation restoration emerges as a vi-tal approach to addressing these challenges.However,the unique climatic conditions and land use patterns of the dry-hot valley regions present multifaceted challenges to vegetation restoration efforts.This study aims to analyze the current state of vegetation restoration in these valleys,identify existing problems,and explore future trends and challenges in vegetation restoration,with the goal of providing guidance and a reference for ecological recov-ery and sustainable management in these regions.
