Determination of Active Silicates in Seawater by Flow Injection Spectrophotometry
The flow injection method is a fast and accurate method for the determination of silicates in seawater, which is a good solution to the sensitivity and reproducibility problems of the method.Under the optimized ex-perimental conditions, the sensitivity was increased by 4 times;the detection limit of the method was 0.5 μg/L;the precision was 0.18%;the linear range was 0.0096~0.96 mg/L;the correlation coefficient was 0.9999;the actual recovery rate of seawater samples was 92.4%~92.5%,and the repeatability was 0.11%at a frequency of 33 sam-ples/hour.The method has the advantages of fast analysis, high precision and accuracy, and simple operation, which is an ideal method for silicate analysis in environmental water.
