Preliminary Study on the Effect of Introduction and Afforestation of Pinus Elliotti engelm in the State-Owned Haizhai Forest Farm of Qujing City
In order to fully verify the adaptability of Pinus Elliotti engelm in the State-Owned Haizhai Forest Farm in Qujing City,and to provide scientific and practical basis for the extension of Pinus Elliotti engelm in the whole area of Haizhai Forest Farm and similar high altitude areas,the introduction and afforestation of Pinus Elliotti en-gelm were carried out in the representative site of Haizhai Forest Farm.By adopting scientific afforestation meth-ods and techniques,the survival rate of slash pine was over 98％,and the survival rate of Pinus Elliotti engelm can be kept above 92％after three years.The growth of diameter and height in three years are 7.8-8.9 cm and 270-310 cm,respectively.It has good adaptability in the introduction project area,and can be widely planted in the whole area of Haizhai Forest Farm only in terms of the survival rate and growth,which is of practical refer-ence significance for planting Pinus Elliotti engelm in similar high-altitude areas.
