Research on the Growth Characteristics and Planting Management Techniques of Eucalyptus in Liuzhou
To clarify the growth characteristics of Eucalyptus in Liuzhou area and propose planting management techniques for Eucalyptus in Liuzhou area,taking Eucalyptus in Liuzhou area as the research object,the growth characteristics of Eucalyptus is investigated;the growth characteristics of Eucalyptus is analyzed;planting man-agement techniques for Eucalyptus is proposed,and the advantages of this method are analyzed compared to tradi-tional methods through afforestation cases.Fast growth,environmental adaptability,and strong reproductive and regenerative capacity are the main growth characteristics of Eucalyptus in Liuzhou area.The planting management model proposed in this study includes soil preparation,afforestation,tending management,and pest and disease control.Case analysis found that the growth of Eucalyptus height,breast height diameter,and volume under the planting management model proposed in this study were significantly higher than those under the conventional management model(P＜0.05).The planting management techniques proposed in this study are suitable for appli-cation in Liuzhou area and can significantly promote the growth of Eucalyptus.
