Preliminary Study on the Difference of Air Negative Ion Concentration in Urban High-rise Buildings
With the development of urbanization in our country, more and more high-rise buildings are appearing in various cities across the country. In order to understand the differences in negative ion concentration(a positive indicator for evaluating air freshness and living environment)between high and low floors of high-rise buildings in cities, various social forces and people were guided to better carry out related construction and investment, and improve the health level of the people. The concentration of negative ions in the air of high and low floors of a high-rise building were measured. It was found that the hourly average concentration of negative ions in the high and low floors of the building was around 80 and 270 cm3,respectively.There was a significant difference in the concentration of negative oxygen ions in the air between the high and low floors, and the concentration in the low floors was much higher than that in the high floors. The differences and reasons for their existence are analyzed.Specific measures such as rooftop greening, indoor greening,or the use of negative oxygen ion generators have been proposed.
